One of the many benefits of modular construction is flexibility. Clients often have only a temporary space need but do not want to sacrifice the building's aesthetic appeal or sense of permanence. Such was the case with Avondale, a growing city outside of Phoenix. With both population and municipal staff on the rise, officials were in desperate need of additional administrative space. And with a permanent multi-million-dollar city complex already under construction, the only affordable solution was to build a temporary structure.

The resulting adobe-styled building was just what this client was looking for. To achieve a permanent look and feel, Modular Technology utilized a steel floor over a temporary, grade-level foundation system and met the City's design standards for HVAC screenage and interior and exterior appearance. Hence, this beautiful factory-built structure exudes the impressive, official environment necessary to a municipal building, while embodying the City's signature Arizona look. Indeed, it sets the aesthetic tone for this rural, desert town's development and serves as a cost-effective solution to their critical space need.
