| A. Architectural Excellence |
Teamed with renowned international architectural firm, DMJM. Bank design is reflective of the surrounding retail center while defining its own architectural statement. Entrance is set back, shaded, and framed by a cantilevered roof deck overhang and floating entry feature. Finishes include, EIFS, slate, and stone. Monolithic slate arch provides architectural interest, focal point for signage, and shade. Colors, tones & hues found in the stone & slate are used on the building exterior. Architectural detail is added to the drive through teller by creating oversized support columns matching the stone façade. The Interior features contemporary furnishings, bold color accents, elegant, warm wood & ceramic tiled and carpeted floors. |
| B. Technical Innovation |
This permanent high public use banking facility features steel superstructure and framing, slab-on-grade foundation with a combination of exterior materials including EIFS, slate, stone veneer & steel accents. The steel provides strength & durability for many years of commercial high public use. All special systems, including bank-specific equipment such as satellite connections, night depositories, & drive-thru kiosks are coordinated with the client & integrated into the design. |
| C. Cost Effectiveness / Energy Efficiency |
Being the first to market means capturing market share in new markets. Potential revenues make the choice of accelerated modular construction easy. Extreme desert summers require energy efficiency. Exterior walls are steel 6” studs with 1” insulation board for a net R-value of 25 for the wall system. The EFIS exterior uses 1” insulation board for a net R-value of 25 for the wall system. Roof systems employ R30+ batt insulation & rigid reflective foam insulation for increased R-value & sound control. Electrical designs are 3-phase for minimal energy use. The package includes 1” SOLEX dual glazing, tinted windows. Close tolerances minimize air infiltration into buildings. High SEER mechanical units equipped with energy management controls. General contractor for infrastructure & site improvements, including utility & permit coordination, and architect of record. Use of native plant material to reduce water and maintenance costs. |
