Modular Technology, partnered with renowned firm Leo A. Daly as the design architect, has completed over 40 banks in the Southwest for Wells Fargo. Each branch is designed to compliment the surrounding retail center while making its own unique architectural statement.

Modular Technology was selected to build this “super bank” — and an addition to it — because of our ability to open branches in record time. This bank is a destination banking center which does not rely on a retail center for traffic. The elongated building facing a major arterial street was visually delineated with set backs in the building plane, varying rooflines and roofing materials, staggered parapets with ornamental cornices in a complimentary hue, and strategically located steel canopies in contrasting colors.

Customers are drawn to the entries by teal barrel vault metal canopies with exposed structural supports. The arched super structure with exposed structural elements and stone columns dominates the north end of the building and provides shade from the searing Arizona heat. Teal concrete tile at the southern end of the building matches the tile on the arch visually tying the building together.

Vertical stone columns bracket the deeply tinted horizontally framed windows along the building frontage. A muted desert color palette found in the stone is throughout the building highlighted with bold teal.

Customers and employees alike enjoy the elegant feel of the warm wood interior and ceramic tiled floors in the banking area, conference room, and office.
